Well it hasn't been totally cuz of my laziness. Honestly not much has happened on the house in the last week or so. The last thing that happened was the drywall going up inside the house. Since then, they've started on the wall texture and that's about it. I think this is the part of the build where they'd be putting up the brick or stone work. Since we don't have either of those, maybe that means they get a break or something. ??? Honestly I have no idea. Of course, since it's my house, I feel like they should be working on it even if they don't have to. I know that sounds bad, but that's how I feel.
"So what it's Labor Day....get to laboring!!!"
In other news, our next door neighbor moved in. Apparently they have the first finished house on our block (not counting the houses at the far end of the culdis, cullde ... circle). I only got to meet the husband and the little boy, but they seem nice so far. He's works in landscaping to which my response was: "SCORE!!!". If you didn't know by now I have been a little worried about doing yardwork and whatnot since I really haven't done anything like that in a long time.
Also our street number for the new house is now different. Well, not just us, but everyone on the street. Apparently the city feels we'd be better as the odd side of the street instead of the even. I was getting so used to being even for a change. So if we gave you our future address already change that 2 to a 1.
So at this point we are about 5 to 6 weeks out and we are eagerly awaiting. Cuz I know you are picture starved, here's some interior pictures of the drywall. Laterz.
ps - If you have no idea what that title means, it's ok, it's not that serious. But it's sooooo true!

I'm so excited for you guys! This is the BOMB!
In so many ways your home looks like Uncle Henry's house. When you folks get a chance check it out; the basic structure is identical. Please visit them, I would be curious to see what ya'll think. See you soon;-)
Win~
